Effingham Storm Falls to the Peoria Punishers

Effingham County Storm took a big hit in the Mid-American Eight Man Football League Sunday. The Storm fell to the Peoria Punishers, 58-6. The loss was the third straight for the Storm.
The games are open to the public, but please observe social distancing guidelines.
Members of the Storm include Kysean Green, Mike Smith, Jacob Harris, Tyler Pilcher, Josh Cazley, Deano Tull, Braxton Anderson, Orion Roberts, Donta Thompson, Payton Bushue, Tim Smith, Josh Layton, Earl Owens, Truston Winnett, Quinton Bogan, Zach Miller, Tyler Veatch, Andrew Sanders, Michael Davidson, Nick Wilson, Tyler Agney, Wesley Motley, Thomas Grove, Erick Deloach, Smitty Smith, Jesse Bushue, Nathaniel Boggs, Joe Fernandez, Blaine Koester, Vincent Owens, Logan Smith and Geoffrey Hecht. The coach is Michael Davidson.
The Storm finishes out the regular season this coming Sunday playing host to the Clark County Chiefs at 2 p.m. The team plays its home games at the ball diamond at Neal Park in Toledo. the Storm has a bye Sunday, August 9 before the playoffs begin,
