IHSA Releases Football Schedules

Effingham's nine-game regular season schedule includes six conference contests and three non-conference games.

The Hearts will open the season playing host to non-conference opponent Breese Mater Dei Friday, August 28.

From there, EHS will travel to Lincoln for a conference game September 4.

The Hearts will then host non-conference opponent Jerseyville Jersey September 11.

The Hearts play five straight conference games, traveling to Mahomet-Seymour September 18, hosting Charleston September 25 before traveling to Mattoon October 2 then hosting Taylorville October 9 and Mount Zion October. 16.

EHS will finish out regular season play October 23 with a non-conference contest at Freeburg.

The Hearts play in the Apollo Conference with Charleston, Lincoln, Mahomet-Seymour, Mattoon, Mount Zion and Taylorville.
