Tagovailoa Agrees To $30.28 Million Deal

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who was taken by the Miami Dolphins with the fifth overall pick in last month’s NFL draft, has agreed to a $30.28 million, four-year contract, according to reports Monday. Tagovailoa had his career at Alabama ended in mid-November because of a hip injury, but the Dolphins are optimistic he’ll recover fully.

 

Mahomes Favored To Win League's MVP

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who led his team to the Super Bowl championship in February and won the game’s MVP, is favored to win the league MVP, according to Caesars Sportsbook. Mahomes has 4-1 odds to win the NFL MVP, ahead of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who's at 13-2, and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who's third at 9-1. Mahomes won the NFL MVP in his first year as a starter in 2018.
