Brady Announces Launch of Production Company

As the football world waits to see if Tom Brady will stay with the New England Patriots, he announced a very different venture Monday, the launch of a Hollywood production company. 199 Productions will look to develop original content including documentaries, feature films and TV shows. The name refers to Brady being selected in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft, with the Number 199 overall selection. 

Former Football Player Files Suit

An unnamed former football player at the University of Michigan has filed suit against the school over allegations of abuse by since-deceased Dr. Robert Anderson, who was a university doctor for decades. The lawsuit accuses the school of not removing Anderson despite complaints about molestation dating back decades. Other former sports players at the school have come forward, and the suit seeks class action status, which would allow others who claim abuse to Anderson to join.
