Brady Shares Essay On Social Media

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady shared an essay on social media Tuesday titled, “What's really important?” in which he wrote about how he'd been “deeply affected” by the death of Kobe Bryant, Bryant's daughter Gianna, and seven others in a helicopter crash last month.

He wrote, “If there is anything I have learned and been inspired by through this tragic event, it is this, Seize the Day That's what Kobe always did, and that's what he wanted for us too.” Brady posted the essay the day after the public memorial for Bryant and Gianna.

 

Bargaining Agreement Headed To Players

NFL player representatives voted early today to send the new collective bargaining agreement to the players for a vote, with a simple majority needed to approve it. The deal, which has already been approved by the owners, includes a 17-game season and shorter pre-season. If approved, the new CBA would run through the 2030 season.
