EHS' Gillum to Play College Football at Augustana

EHS senior Jett Gillum is Quad Cities' bound.

A multi-position player for the Hearts' highly-successful football team the past three seasons, Gillum will continue playing football at Augustana College in Rock Island. The signing ceremony was held Monday afternoon.

Jett indicated he plans to pursue Psychology as it relates to Criminal Justice. As far as football, Gillum will give Augustana a lot of options. He was successful as a fullback for the Hearts as well as playing tight end both on and off the line. In addition to his success as a blocking back, he became more and more frequently utilized as a receiver over the course of his senior season.

Jett is the son of Juston and Sara Gillum.
