The NFL released data Thursday showing a slight increase in reported concussions during the 2019 season compared to last year. There were 224 concussions between the preseason and regular season, up from 214 in 2018. However, it's still below a spike up in 2017, and the NFL is hopeful this continues a trend of a lower number of concussions due to rules changes made to reduce the risk of severe head injuries.

Brown Turns Himself In To Police

Antonio Brown turned himself in to police in Florida last night after an arrest warrant had been issued a day earlier on charges including battery and burglary related to him allegedly assaulting a moving truck driver outside his home during a dispute over payment. Brown's trainer, Glenn Holt, who was with him at the time of the incident, was arrested Tuesday on similar charges.

The 31-year-old wide receiver is currently on the NFL commissioner's exempt list, which bars him from playing, while an investigation is being carried out into sexual assault allegations and misconduct against him by two women.
