The San Francisco 49ers are now the only unbeaten team in the NFL as the Baltimore Ravens defeated the New England Patriots 37-20 on Sunday Night Football. Tom Brady was held to just one passing touchdown to go with one interception.
Bengals Only Winless Team Remaining
The Cincinnati Bengals are now the only winless team in the NFL as the Miami Dolphins beat their former coach Adam Gase and the New York Jets 26-18 Sunday. The Dolphins are now ahead of the Jets in the AFC East due to tiebreaker rules.
AP College Poll Looks Same
The Associated Press College Football Poll looks the same at the top this week as nine ranked teams were off this weekend, including four of the top five. LSU and Alabama remain 1-2, but will play against each other on Saturday. Ohio State, Clemson and Penn State again round out the top five this week.
Florida State Fires Coach
Florida State has fired coach Willie Taggart. Athletic Director David Coburn said the university "had no choice but to make a change." FSU raised about $20 million in private donations to buy out the remainder of Taggart's contract.
