The Effingham Fresh/Soph football team posted a convincing 42-8 victory Monday over Taylorville.

Fresh/Soph Coach Mike McDonald said, "We played our best overall game of the season. Our record is now 4-3. Next Monday is our last home game of the season vs. Mt. Zion at 6pm. Come see us play if you have the chance!"
