Season-Long Burfict Suspension Upheld

The season-long suspension of Oakland Raiders linebacker Vontaze Burfict has been upheld. Burfict was suspended for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle and it means he’ll lose more than $1.1 million per game in salary and bonuses.
Brown Makes Social Media Appeal
Antonio Brown made a social media appeal to his fans to tell the New England Patriots to let him play again. Brown said that since he feels they still have to pay him they might as well let him earn it. While the Patriots may have to pay up, there seems to be no chance he’ll ever play for them again.
