The Washington Redskins have fired coach Jay Gruden. Gruden had been on the hot seat for several weeks and was finally dismissed after the team’s 0-5 start. The team called Gruden in at 5 a.m. to drop the ax and announced that offensive line coach Bill Callahan will take over as interim coach.
