Bears Offense Kicks Into Gear In Win

LANDOVER, MD. -- After a slow start to the season, the Chicago Bears broke loose with four touchdowns in the first half and ended with a 31-15 win over the Washington Redskins during Monday Night Football.
The Bears' defense was on as well as Ha Ha Clint-Dix intercepted a pass and returned it 37 yards for his first touchdown. The Bears then tallied three straight TDs as Mitchell Trubisky connected with Taylor Gabriel. Trubisky hit 20 of 23 passes in the opening half.
Clinton-Dix started the second half with an interception, returning it 60 yards.
The Redskins finally scored in the third quarter when Case Kennum hit Terry McLaurin.
The Bears finished out with a fumble recovery by Eddie Jackson. Chicago is now 2-1 on the season.
Houston's King Out Remainder Of Season
Houston quarterback D'Eriq King will sit out the remainder of the 2019 season under the NCAA's four-game redshirt rule. However, King says he plans to return to play for the Cougars.
