Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will miss the rest of the season with an elbow injury. The team says Roethlisberger will have surgery later this week and that Mason Rudolph will take over at quarterback for the rest of the season.

It’s reported that New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees tore a ligament in his right thumb and will undergo surgery. Word is that Brees will likely miss six weeks.
Jets Turn To Third String QB
The New York Jets had to turn to third string quarterback Luke Falk early in last night’s loss to Cleveland. With Sam Darnold out with mononucleosis, the Jets started Trevor Siemian, but he suffered a leg injury in the second quarter on a late hit.
Jaguars' Ramsey Requests Trade
Jacksonville Jaguars two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey has reportedly requested a trade. Ramsey had an animated confrontation with Jaguars coach Doug Marrone during Sunday's loss to the Texans.
Steelers Acquire Fitzpatrick
The Pittsburgh Steelers have acquired defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2020 first-round pick. Fitzpatrick had received permission to seek a trade earlier in the week.
Chargers' Phillips Sidelined
Los Angeles Chargers safety Adrian Phillips will be sidelined for about six weeks with a broken forearm. Phillips was injured while trying to tackle Detroit running back Kerryon Johnson during LA's 13-10 loss to the Lions on Sunday.
