Cowboys, Elliott Agree To Terms, NFL Season Opens Tonight

The Dallas Cowboys and running back Ezekiel Elliott have agreed to terms on a six-year, $90 million contract extension. The deal makes Elliott the highest-paid running back in the NFL. Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones said he expected Elliott to miss the season opener, although Elliott’s agent had said he’d be ready to go.
Panthers' Newton Earns Spot in Book of World Records
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has earned himself a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. Amazingly, it’s not for throwing, but for catching a record 51 one-handed passes in 60 seconds.
Bad Blood Continues
The bad blood continues between the Oakland Raiders and Antonio Brown. Brown posted a letter on Instagram from the Raiders GM informing him of about $54,000 in fines for missing practices. Brown captioned the post, “When your own team want to hate but there’s no stopping me now devil is a lie. Everyone got to pay this year.”
