Rams, Goff Agree To Contract Extension

The Los Angeles Rams and quarterback Jared Goff have agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension that’ll keep him with the team through the 2024 season. Financial terms weren’t disclosed, but it’s reported to be worth $134 million.


Elliott, Cowboys Close To Deal

Ezekiel Elliott's agent says they’re very close to a deal with the Dallas Cowboys. Elliott has returned to Dallas and is said to be in shape to play Sunday if a deal is reached.

The Dallas Cowboys and offensive lineman La'el Collins have agreed to a long-term contract extension. The deal adds five more years to Collins’ contract, keeping him with the team through the 2024 season.


Bengals Sign Bernard

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed running back Giovani Bernard to a two-year contract extension. Bernard could’ve become a free agent after this season, but the new deal keeps him with the team through 2021.


First AP College Poll Looks Like Last Season

The first regular-season AP college football poll of 2019 looks pretty much like the last pre-season poll. The top seven teams all held their spots, as Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU and Michigan lead the way.
