Former NFL defensive end Ryan Russell, who last played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2017, is attempting a comeback and has come out as bisexual. While Russell says he hasn’t lied to teammates, he said withholding information is a form of deceit and he wants the next part of his career and life to be steeped in trust and honesty.
Dolphins Name Fitzpatrick As Starter
Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores has named Ryan Fitzpatrick as the team’s Week 1 starter. Flores went with Fitzpatrick despite a strong preseason for backup Josh Rosen.
Brown's Hunt Undergoes Operation
Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt underwent a sports hernia operation Thursday. However, Hunt has been suspended for the first eight games of the season for two off-field physical altercations while he played for Kansas City last year and the team says he’ll be fully recovered by the time the ban ends.
