Antonio Brown Helmet Flap Continues

Antonio Brown practiced in a certified helmet with the Oakland Raiders Tuesday. However, the helmet flap continues as Brown filed a second grievance on Monday seeking a one-year grace period to transition to the new helmet.
Jets Claim Kindred Off Waivers
The New York Jets claimed safety Derrick Kindred off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts Tuesday, and signed former Atlanta Falcons linebacker Stephone Anthony. To make room on the roster, the Jets waived cornerback Montrel Meander and safety Santos Ramirez.
Cowboys Sign Jaylon Smith
The Dallas Cowboys have signed linebacker Jaylon Smith to a five-year, $65 million deal, with $35.5 guaranteed. The deal makes Smith the third-highest-paid inside linebacker in the league in terms of guaranteed money.

U.S. women's soccer star Carli Lloyd worked out with the Philadelphia Eagles Tuesday. While Carli apparently isn’t being considered for a roster spot, maybe she should be as she nailed a 55-yard field goal.
Tennessee State QB Arrested
Tennessee State quarterback Demry Croft was arrested Monday and charged with six felony counts of rape and two counts of sexual battery. The charges stem from an alleged incident last December 1st and his status with the team is not yet known.
