Garoppolo Has Less Than Stellar Performance

It was a less than stellar performance for San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo Monday night. While the 49ers beat the Denver Broncos, 24-15, Garoppolo went just 1 for 6 for zero yards and an interception and finished with a 0.0 passer rating.


Colts' Fountain on IL

The Indianapolis Colts have put second-year receiver Daurice Fountain on injured reserve. Fountain suffered an ankle injury in practice on Thursday and underwent season-ending surgery. The team also waived veteran safety Derrick Kindred.


Brown Helmet Saga Continues

The Antonio Brown helmet saga continues to drag on. It’s reported that Brown has filed a new grievance against the NFL in an attempt to wear his old helmet.


Patriots' Edelman Removed From IL

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has been removed from the non-football injury list. Edelman wasted no time as he returned for in his first practice with the team yesterday.

The New England Patriots have released punter Ryan Allen in a move that frees up about $1.4 million in cap space. During his time with the Patriots, Allen won three Super Bowls.


Chiefs' Kemp Out For  Season

Kansas Chiefs wide receiver Marcus Kemp is out for the season after tearing both the ACL and MCL in the same knee. Kemp was injured during Saturday’s preseason game at Pittsburgh. With a roster spot available, the Chiefs signed offensive lineman Jeff Allen to a one-year deal.


AP College Poll Out

With college football season kicking off this week, the Associated Press pre-season poll is out. The top five are Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Ohio State.
