Denver Coach Fangio On Sidelines For HOF Game

Denver Broncos coach Vic Fangio was on the sidelines for Thursday night’s Hall of Fame Game despite a trip to the hospital earlier in the day and for a kidney stone that hadn’t yet passed. The good news for Fangio is that Denver beat Atlanta 14-10.


Phil Dawson Announces Retirement

Kicker Phil Dawson has announced his retirement after 20 seasons. Dawson ranks 11th on the NFL's all-time scoring list and will sign a one-day contract with Cleveland so he can officially retire as a member of the Browns, who he played the majority of his career with.


Jackson Signs With Rams To Retire

Former running back Steven Jackson hasn’t played in the NFL since 2015, but signed a one-day contract with Los Angeles this week so he could officially retire as a member of the Rams. However, the league apparently didn’t get the full memo as they notified Jackson Thursday that he was selected to take a random drug test. Jackson tweeted that he wouldn’t be showing up for it.


Kalil Comes Out Of Retirement

Former Carolina Panthers center Ryan Kalil has come out of retirement and has signed a one year, $8.4 million deal with the New York Jets. Kalil will take a physical today and could make his practice debut tomorrow.
