Eagles' Nick Foles Free Agent

The Philadelphia Eagles say they won’t use the franchise tag on quarterback Nick Foles, making him a free agent. Foles is looking for a shot at becoming a starter with another team.

Former NFL Player Arrested

Former NFL cornerback Adam 'Pacman' Jones was arrested at an Indiana casino early Wednesday morning. Sources say he was suspected of cheating at a card game and became disorderly when confronted by police. Jones was charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, intimidation, and resisting arrest.

Alouettes Release Johnny Manziel

The Montreal Alouettes have released Johnny Manziel under orders from the CFL to terminate his contract. They said that Manziel didn’t fulfill the agreement which made him eligible to play in Canada, although they didn’t offer specifics. However, Manziel did agree to mandatory doctor visits, lithium tests every month and weekly visits to a therapist.
