Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes picked up two more honors Wednesday. The Pro Football Writers of America named Mahomes the NFL’s Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year for 2018.
Alexander Signs New Deal With Bills
Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander has signed a new one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills for what he says will be his final NFL season. Terms of the contract weren’t disclosed.
Alabama QB Commits To Senior Year
Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts has committed to play his senior season at Oklahoma. Hurts drew interest from a number of schools after deciding to transfer. Hurt was benched in favor of Tua Tagovailoa despite going 26-2 as a starter with Alabama.
