Tom Brady set yet another NFL record in the New England Patriots’ win Sunday. Brady became the career leader in total yards passing in regular-season and playoff games and now has 79,416 for his career.


Chargers' QB Ties Record

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers tied the record of 25 straight completed passes against the Arizona Cardinals yesterday. Rivers shares the record with Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill, although his came over a two-game stretch in 2015. Rivers also broke the records for consecutive completions to start a game and the highest completion percentage in a game.


San Francisco Releases Foster

The San Francisco 49ers released linebacker Reuben Foster after he was arrested on domestic violence charges Saturday night. It was the second time Foster had been arrested for domestic violence, although the previous charges were dropped in May after his ex-girlfriend recanted her claims.


Top Three College Teams Same

For the sixth straight week, Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame are the top three in the Associated Press college football poll. Georgia moved up a spot to No. 4 and Oklahoma is fifth.
