Is the Eli Manning era over?
The Philadelphia Eagles picked up a victory during Thursday night National Football League action over the New York Giants and Manning, 34-13.
Philadelphia took a 14-3 opening quarter lead and led 24-6 at halftime. Alshon Jeffery pulled in a 13 yard pass from Carson Wentz. Jake Elliott kicked the point after.
Aldick Rosas got the Giants on the board with a 33 yard field goal.
Corey Clement had a one yard run and Elliott kicked. Rosas came back with another field goal and the Giants pulled within 14-6.
But Zach Ertz claimed a 10 yard pass and the kick was good. Elliott then added a field goal for the Eagles.
In the third quarter, Jeffery caught a one yard pass and the kick was good.
The lone touchdown for the Giants came on a Saquon Barkley 50 yard run. Rosas kicked the extra point.
Elliott got a field goal for the final scoring of the contest.
Manning connected on 24 of 43 passes for 281 yards and had one interception.
