Patriots Place Burkhead, Bentley On Injured Reserve

The New England Patriots placed running back Rex Burkhead and linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley on injured reserve Wednesday. Burkhead suffered a neck injury in Sunday's loss to the Lions while Bentley’s injury wasn’t disclosed.

Rams'  Talib on Injured Reserve

The Los Angeles Rams have placed cornerback Aqib Talib on injured reserve. The team says Talib will need surgery for an ankle injury sustained in the Rams win over the Chargers.

Matthews, Titans Part Ways

Veteran wide receiver Rishard Matthews and the Tennessee Titans have parted ways. Matthews was unhappy with his lack of playing time and indicated he’s available should another team be interested.
