Roethlisberg Placed In Concussion Protocol

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been placed in concussion protocol after being hit in practice Tuesday. Roethlisberger eventually got up on his own and talked with teammates and trainers, who then walked him out of the stadium.


Redskins Release Scandrick

The Washington Redskins released cornerback Orlando Scandrick Tuesday, about five months after signing him to a two-year contract and giving him a $1 million signing bonus. Scandrick spent his first nine seasons with the Dallas Cowboys before requesting his release prior to the start of free agency.


San Francisco Signs Morris
