Effingham Hearts football standout Logan Smith has signed to play college ball at Illinois College.
Smith was an all-Apollo Conference tight end this past season and had a great career as a punter at EHS. He joins teammate Jordan McCabe in committing to Illinois College. In addition to his other duties, McCabe was Smith's snapper when punting.
Smith is the son of Shane and Kathleen Smith. He plans to study agribusiness and physical education.
