NFL front offices remained busy Thursday. As expected, former Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins signed a three-year, $84 million deal with the Minnesota Vikings.
The Cleveland Browns named Tyrod Taylor as their new starting quarterback and made some wholesale changes as they cut 10 players, including cornerback Jason McCourty, who they later traded to New England, where he’ll join his twin brother, safety Devin McCourty.
The Miami Dolphins acquired center Daniel Kilgore from the San Francisco 49ers and released Mike Pouncey.
Running back Doug Martin agreed to a deal with the Oakland Raiders, who also signed former Packers receiver Jordy Nelson and released Michael Crabtree.
The Carolina Panthers and unrestricted Falcons free agent defensive tackle Dontari Poe have agreed on a three-year, $28 million deal.
The New York Giants signed offensive tackle Nate Solder and added former Arizona Cardinals linebacker Kareem Martin.
