Effingham High School football players and cheerleaders were honored at a banquet at the Hearts Rock Cafe Monday evening.
Winning varsity football awards were:

Kaleb Kihne -- Jack Klosterman Hang Tough
Braden Hasty -- Chris Hutts Bandit, Defensive Most Valuable Player
Matthew Robinson -- Lineman of the Year
Terrence Hill -- Offensive Most Valuable Player
Jordan McCabe -- Specials Teams Most Valuable Player

Cheerleading awards were presented. Katie Vahling won Most Improved while Regan Hopper took the Most Spirited award. Winning two awards was Payton Koester for Outstanding Cheerleader and Leadership.
