EHS Still Standing Seventh In IHSA Poll

Effingham High School hasn't moved from the seventh spot in the Class 4A Associated Press state football poll.
The Hearts sport a 6-1 record with 36 points. Taylorville is in the others receiving votes category with 10 points.
Effingham has two games remaining in regular season play. This Friday the Hearts will play host to Mattoon in the final Apollo Conference matchup. EHS is standing atop the conference with a perfect 5-0 mark. The Hearts will end the regular season by hosting Salem in a non-conference contest Friday, October 20.
