Hearts Remain in Seventh Place in Latest AP Football Poll

Effingham High School is still in the seventh spot in the Class 4A Associated Press state football poll.
The Hearts sport a 5-1 record with 33 points. Taylorville is in the others receiving votes category with nine points.
EHS travels to Charleston Friday for an Apollo Conference matchup. The Hearts will finish out regular season play with two straight home games the following two weeks with Mattoon October 13 and with Salem October 20.
