EIU Tailgate Event Scheduled Sept. 9

Eastern Illinois Athletics is partnering with the EIU Alumni Association for a pregame event at the Panthers Sept. 9 football game at Northern Illinois.  The game will be a 2:30 p.m. kickoff and televised on ESPN3.
 
Tickets for the tailgate event have two pricing options 1.) $34 includes food and non-alcoholic beverages; 2.) $44 includes food with beer/wine.  Tailgate will open at 12 p.m. To purchase a tailgate option call the EIU Alumni Office at 800-ALUM-EIU (800-258-6348) or online through the EIU Alumni Association.  www.eiu.edu/alumni  

Game tickets for the EIU and Northern Illinois game can be purchased as part of a tailgate package or through the EIU Athletic Ticket Office at 217-581-2106.  Ticket seating in the EIU section is $30 per person.

The Panthers will open the season on Thursday, August 31 at Indiana State.  The home opener is Saturday, Sept. 16 against Illinois State in the 106th Mid-America Classic.  Kickoff for the home opener is set for 2 p.m. Season tickets are now on sale by calling 217-581-2106 or online at www.eiupanthertickets.com
