CHARLESTON – Eastern Illinois and Southeast Missouri will meet in an important Ohio Valley Conference football game this Saturday at O’Brien Field with the game to be televised nationally on FOX College Sports with an 11 a.m. kickoff.  This start time is a change from some previously printed materials.

EIU enters the game 6-3 overall, 5-1 in the OVC.  The Panthers feature Walter Payton Award Candidates Jimmy Garoppolo and Erik Lora on offense while the defense is led by OVC sacks leader Artavious Dowdell.  The Panthers are playing for a share of the Ohio Valley Conference title as its Senior Day and Hall of Fame Day at O’Brien Field.  The game is Fan Appreciation Day with reduced ticket prices.  SEMO is currently 3-6 overall, 2-4 in the OVC.  The Redhawks like to run the football and are led by running back Levi Terrell who ranks 13th in the country in rushing.
