Final Apollo, Little Illini, Little Okaw Valley Standings, Newton, Cland on to Playoffs

Newton and Cumberland head into the high school football playoffs after capturing conference championships in their respective conferences.
The Eagles of Newton finished with a perfect 8-0 conference mark and 9-0 overall in the Little Illini Conference. Newton drew the No. 1 seeed in Class 3A and will play host to Auburn (5-4) at a time and date to be determined.
Cumberland finished 5-0 and ended at first place in the Little Okaw Valley Southeast Conference. The Pirates were 5-4 overall.
The Pirates drew the No. 15 seed in Class 1A and will travel to No. 2 Decatur St. Teresa (8-1) at time and place to be determined.
