Effingham High School Buck Bowl Friday

The Effingham High School Football Buck Bowl will be held Friday, August 19 beginning at 6 p.m.

This year's event will be different than past years, besides moving it to Friday instead of Saturday. The evening will include opportunities to see how practices are conducted and include a little more information on how players prepare for the season, rather than the usual scrimmage.

The Buck Bowl schedule is as follows:

6 p.m. -- Freshmen Warm Up

6:10 p.m.-- Freshmen Player Introductions

6:15 p.m. -- Freshmen Individual Offense

6:25 p.m. -- Freshmen Group Pass

6:40 p.m. -- Freshmen Individual Defense

6:55 p.m. -- Freshmen Punt Team

7 p.m. -- Varsity and Sophomore Warm Up

7:10 p.m. -- Player Introductions

7:15 p.m. -- Individual Offense

7:30 p.m. -- Inside Run

7:45 p.m. -- Group Pass

8 p.m. -- Punt Team

8:05 p.m. -- Individual Defense

8:25 p.m. -- PAT/FG

The Football Moms will be selling meal deals which will include sandwich, side dish, dessert and drink starting at 5 p.m. Meal deals will be available until 7 p.m. and then drinks only will be sold in the concession stand. Football Moms also will have EHS football fan gear available for purchase.

Admission is $2 per person or $5 per family. Proceeds will help support the Football Moms.

Saturday will be Media Day for Fall Sports beginning at 8 a.m. All photographs will be taken at EHS Klosterman Field. In case of poor weather, photos will be taken in B Gym.

8:15 a.m. -- Boys Golf

8:25 a.m. -- Girls Golf

8:35 a.m. -- Cheerlreaders, Varsity and JV

8:45 a.m. -- Freshmen Volleyball

9 a.m. -- JV Volleyball

9:15 a.m. -- Varsity Volleyball

9:20 a.m. -- Girls Tennis

9:30 a.m. -- Girls Cross Country

9:40 a.m. -- Boys Cross Country

10 a.m. -- Freshmen  Football

10:20 a.m. -- Sophomore Football

10:45 a.m. -- Varsity Football
