2016 Hearts Football Schedule Includes Two Different Opponents

The Effingham Hearts football schedule for 2016 includes two new opponents.

Jerseyville and Highland join the list of teams set to tangle with second-year coach Brett Hefner's squad. Jerseyville will be the Hearts' second week opponent in a game to be played at Jersey. Jerseyville replaces Mascoutah on the schedule.

Highland will be the Hearts' third week opponent in a game to be played at Klosterman Field. The Bulldogs replace Bethalto Civic Memorial on the Hearts' schedule.

The Apollo Conference schedule remains unchanged for Effingham, at least for this season. Salem will be leaving the conference after this season.

This is a five home game season.
