Newton Sees Football Season End; Other Second Round Playoff Results

The Newton Eagles saw their football season come to an end Saturday afternoon, suffering their first loss of the season in the process.

In a slugfest, Jason Fulton's crew lost, 49-36, to Monticello in front of a big home crowd at Chizevsky Field in Newton.

Newton finished its great season with a 10-1 record.
