EHS Claims JV Football Win Over Charleston

Effingham High School's junior varsity football team stepped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead and went on to down Charleston 40-6 Monday evening.
The Hearts held a 26-0 halftime lead then talled two more touchdowns in the second half. Lucas Vasquez had four touchdown passes and ran for a score. Jacob Miller had two touchdown receptions as did Dylan Bushur. Paul Smith ran for a score.
Alec Morrissey, Logan Poe and Jacob Miller had one interception each.
