Charleston Wins Over Effingham in Frosh/Soph Football

Charleston won over Effingham 27-0 in frosh/soph football action Thursday night at Charleston.

Charleston had requested a frosh/soph game due to low turnout at the freshman level.

Charleston led 8-0 after one quarter and that's where the game stayed until the Trojans scored 19 points in the fourth quarter.

As far as the stats: the Hearts' Joe Niemann was 0 for 6 passing, Drew Vasquez carried the ball 10 times for 71 yards, Alex Howell had 10 carries for 25 yards, and Zak Kahley had four carries for 35 yards.  Wyatt Kahley had 14 tackles including six solos and Drew Vasquez had 14 tackles, four solos.
