(St. Louis, MO) -- In an effort to keep the Rams in St. Louis, Missouri Governor Jay Nixon is unveiling plans that could lead to a new stadium. The city has reached deals with a power company and railroad for a potential site north of the Edward Jones Dome to build a 64,000 seat, open-air stadium.
With the Rams a candidate to relocate back to Southern California, the NFL is forming a committee to focus on the Los Angeles market. The "LA Times" says a memo about the committee was sent to all 32 teams. The Rams, Raiders and Chargers are all on year-to-year stadium leases.
