Three Effingham High School Football Players Sign For College

Effingham High School's retiring football coach Mike McDonald is going out with a bang, as three of the stars from his final season signed letters of intent Wednesday to play college football.

Lineman Khole Moran and running back Zach Miller signed to attend and play football at McKendree University in Lebanon, while running back Billy Arndt signed to attend and play at Lindenwood University in Belleville.

Also signing to head to McKendree University was Cumberland High School's Monte Wolke. Additionally, Newton's Nick Reis has signed to play football at Division 3 school John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. He's the son of David and Maria Reis of Ste. Marie.
