Seahawks Stun Packers In OT To Advance To Super Bowl 49

(Seattle, WA) -- Russell Wilson's 35-yard touchdown pass to Jermaine Kearse just over three minutes into overtime gave the Seahawks a wild 28-22 win over the Packers in the NFC Championship Game in Seattle. The touchdown capped an incredible rally for the Seahawks, who took advantage of a misplayed onside kick late in the fourth en route to advancing to Super Bowl 49. The Seahawks trailed 16-0 at halftime and were down by 12 in the fourth quarter before taking their first lead with 1:25 left in regulation. Green Bay's Mason Crosby then forced OT with a 48-yard field goal with 14 seconds to go.

Wilson threw for 209 yards, the score and four interceptions for Seattle, which will face the Patriots in Glendale, Arizona on February 1. Marshawn Lynch rumbled for 157 yards and a touchdown in the win. Aaron Rodgers passed for 178 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions for Green Bay, which gave up two touchdowns less than a minute apart late in the fourth. Crosby kicked five field goals, including two chip shots following Seattle defensive stands in the first quarter.

Patriots Stomp Colts In AFC Championship Game

(Foxboro, MA) -- The New England Patriots are headed to their eighth Super Bowl. New England dominated the Indianapolis Colts, 45-7, Sunday evening at Gillette Stadium. The Pats will take on the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 49, February 1st at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Tom Brady led the way, throwing for 226 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. On the receiving end of the Brady TD tosses were Rob Gronkowski, James Develin and offensive tackle Nate Solder. LeGarrette Blount gashed the Colts' run defense, much like he did in the 2013 AFC Divisional matchup, to the tune of 148 yards and three scores.

It wasn't a pretty day for Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck, who completed only 12-of-33 passes for 126 yards, no touchdowns and two picks. The Colts only gained 209 total yards as an offense. Their loan score was a one-yard run from Zurlon Tipton that pulled the Colts within seven in the second quarter.  Indy was outscored 28-to-0 in the second half.
