(Landover, MD) -- Tavon Austin returned a punt 78 yards for a touchdown as the Rams routed the Redskins 24-0 at FedEx Field. Shaun Hill threw for 213 yards and two touchdowns for the Rams, who have won two straight to improve to 6-7. St. Louis had seven sacks and held Washington to 206 total yards in the win. Colt McCoy threw for 199 yards and two interceptions before being benched in favor of Robert Griffin the Third, who was 3-of-4 for 33 yards the rest of the way. The 3-10 Redskins have lost five in-a-row.


Steelers Surge By Bengals

(Cincinnati, OH) -- The Steelers scored 25 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to rally for a 42-21 win over the Bengals in Cincinnati. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 350 yards and three touchdowns for Pittsburgh, which improved to 8-5. Le'Veon Bell ran for 185 yards and two touchdowns for the Steelers in the win. Andy Dalton passed for 302 yards and two touchdowns, while A.J. Green caught 11 passes for 224 yards and two scores for the Bengals, who fell to 8-4-1.


Giants Trounce Titans To Stop Skid

(Nashville, TN) -- Odell Beckham Jr. caught 11 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown as the Giants trounced the Texans 36-7 in Nashville. Eli Manning passed for 260 yards with a touchdown and an interception for New York, which put the brakes on a seven-game skid. Andre Williams rushed for 131 yards and a score as the Giants moved to 4-9. Marqueston Huff returned an interception 23 yards for a touchdown for the Titans, who fell to 2-11 with their seventh straight loss. Zach Mettenberger threw for only 125 yards and an interception before re-aggravating his right shoulder injury.


Panthers Pound Saints

(New Orleans, LA) -- Cam Newton threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns as the Panthers pounded the Saints 41-10 in New Orleans. Newton also ran for 83 yards and a touchdown, while Jonathan Stewart rumbled for 155 yards and a score to help Carolina stop its six-game losing streak. Greg Olsen made 10 catches for 72 yards and a TD as the Panthers improved to 4-8-1. Drew Brees was just 29-of-49 for 235 yards, a touchdown and an interception for the 5-8 Saints, who have lost their last four at home. Benjamin Watson had a touchdown grab in the loss.


Vikings Down Jets In OT

(Minneapolis, MN) -- Teddy Bridgewater's 87-yard touchdown pass to Jarius Wright with under five minutes left in overtime gave the Vikings a 30-24 win over the Jets in Minnesota. Bridgewater threw for 309 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for the Vikings, who moved to 6-7 with their second straight win.  Wright and Charles Johnson each had over 100 yards receiving and a TD in the win. Geno Smith's first pass of the day was intercepted and returned by Gerald Hodges for a touchdown. Smith ended the day 18-of-29 for 254 yards, a touchdown and a pick for the Jets, who dropped to 2-11. Percy Harvin made six grabs for 124 yards and a TD in the loss.


Ravens Rough Up Dolphins

(Miami, FL) -- The Ravens scored the final 14 points in the fourth quarter to notch a 28-13 comeback win over the Dolphins in Miami. Joe Flacco tossed for 269 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for Baltimore, which improved to 8-5. Justin Forsett ran for 71 yards and a touchdown, while Steve Smith caught seven passes for 70 yards and a TD in the win. Ryan Tannehill threw for 227 yards and a touchdown for Miami, which dipped to 7-6. The Dolphins were outgained 447-249 in the loss.


Colts Outlast Browns

(Cleveland, OH) -- Andrew Luck's one-yard touchdown pass to T.Y. Hilton with 32 seconds left lifted the Colts to a 25-24 win over the Browns in Cleveland.  Luck threw for 294 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also led the way in rushing with 37 yards and a score for Indianapolis, which moved to 9-4. Hilton had 10 catches for 150 yards and both touchdowns in the win. Brian Hoyer was only 14-of-31 for 140 yards and two interceptions for Cleveland, which slipped to 7-6. Justin Gilbert returned an interception 21 yards for a touchdown, while Craig Robertson fell on a fumble for a score in the loss.


Lions Blow Out Buccaneers

(Detroit, MI) -- Matthew Stafford threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns as the Lions blew out the Buccaneers 34-17 in Detroit. Calvin Johnson had eight catches for 158 yards and a score for the Lions, who have won two in-a-row to improve to 9-4. Joique Bell rushed for 83 yards and a score while also catching five passes for 50 yards and a TD in the win. Josh McCown passed for 250 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions for the Bucs, who dipped to 2-11. Mike Evans caught both touchdown passes, while Vincent Jackson had 159 receiving yards in the loss.


Texans Turn Back Jaguars

(Jacksonville, FL) -- Arian Foster rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown to lead the Texans to a 27-13 win over the Jaguars in Jacksonville. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 135 yards and also ran in for a score for Houston, which has won two straight to move to 7-6. The Texans outscored the Jags 17-0 in the second half. Blake Bortles passed for 205 yards, a touchdown and an interception for Jacksonville, which dipped to 2-11. Allen Hurns had a touchdown grab in the loss.


Cardinals Clip Chiefs

(Glendale, AZ) -- Drew Stanton tossed for 239 yards and a touchdown to help the Cardinals clip the Chiefs 17-14 from Arizona. Kerwynn Williams rushed for 100 yards on 19 carries in his debut for the Cards. John Brown had two catches for 48 yards and the score for Arizona, which is the first NFC team to 10 wins. Alex Smith threw for 293 yards, a touchdown and an interception for Kansas City, which slipped to 7-6 with its third straight loss. Jamaal Charles rushed for 91 yards and a TD while catching one too for KC.


Broncos Turn Back Bills

(Denver, CO) -- C.J. Anderson rushed for 58 yards and three touchdowns as Broncos turned back the Bills 24-17 in Denver. Peyton Manning was only 14-of-20 for 173 yards and two interceptions for Denver, which upped its record to 10-3. Manning had thrown a touchdown pass in 51 straight games. He falls just shy of Drew Brees' record of 54. Kyle Orton threw for 355 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions for Buffalo, which dipped to 7-6. Sammy Watkins made seven grabs for 127 yards in the loss.


Seahawks Take Down Eagles

(Philadelphia, PA) -- Russell Wilson went 22-for-37 for 263 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead the Seahawks to a 24-14 win over the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. Wilson added 48 yards and a score on the ground to help Seattle improve to 9-4 with its sixth victory in seven games. Marshawn Lynch rushed for 86 yards and caught a touchdown and Doug Baldwin also had a receiving TD. Philadelphia totaled just 139 yards of offense for Chip Kelly's worst output as a head coach. Mark Sanchez tossed for 96 yards, two scores and a pick, while LeSean McCoy tallied 50 yards on the ground. The Eagles dropped to 9-4.


Raiders Upset 49ers

(Oakland, CA) -- Derek Carr tossed for 254 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Raiders to a 24-13 upset win over the crossbay-rival 49ers at O.co Coliseum. Mychal Rivera caught seven balls for 109 yards and TD while Latavius Murray totaled 76 yards on 23 carries. Marcel Reece and offensive tackle Donald Penn both had a touchdown catch for Oakland, which moved to 2-11. Colin Kaepernick threw for 174 yards, a score and two picks as San Francisco dropped to 7-6 with its second straight loss. Bruce Miller caught the team's only touchdown in defeat.

 

Patriots Roll Chargers

(San Diego, CA) -- The Patriots scored 20 unanswered points to sink the Chargers 23-14 from San Diego. Tom Brady threw for 317 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for New England, which improved to 10-3. Julian Edelman had eight catches for 141 yards and a touchdown in the win. Rob Gronkowski added eight grabs for 87 yards and a TD for the Pats. Philip Rivers threw for 189 yards, a TD and a pick for San Diego, which had won three straight. Malcom Floyd had three catches for 54 yards and a score in defeat.
