Rodgers Ties NFL Record As Packers Rout Bears

(Green Bay, WI) -- Aaron Rodgers threw six touchdown passes in the first half to tie an NFL record as the Packers blasted the Bears 55-14 on "Sunday Night Football" at Lambeau Field. Oakland's Daryle Lamonica was the last quarterback to have six TD tosses in a half back in 1969. Rodgers finished 18-of-27 for 315 yards and sat out most of the second half.

Jordy Nelson had six catches for 152 yards and two TD's for the Packers, who improved to 6-3 on the season and 4-and-0 at home. Eddie Lacy ran for 50 yards and made three grabs for 68 yards and a score. Casey Hayward added an 82-yard interception return for a touchdown in the lopsided victory. Jay Cutler was 22-of-37 for 272 yards with one TD, two interceptions and a fumble for Chicago, which fell to 3-7. Brandon Marshall posted eight catches for 112 yards and a score in defeat.


Cardinals Roll Past Rams

(Glendale, AZ) -- The Cardinals scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to push past the Rams 31-14 at University of Phoenix Stadium. Carson Palmer tossed for 241 yards and an interception before leaving the game in the final quarter with a knee injury. Drew Stanton rifled a 48-yard touchdown to John Brown in his place. Andre Ellington punched in a three-yard score while Patrick Peterson and Antonio Cromartie both scored on defense as Arizona moved to 8-1 with its fifth straight win. Austin Davis went 17-of-30 for 216 yards and a TD while also throwing a pair of picks. Tre Mason ran for 48 yards on 14 carries while Benjamin Cunningham found the end zone in defeat. St. Louis dropped to 3-6 with the loss.


Chiefs Sink Bills

(Orchard Park, NY) -- Alex Smith ran for an eight-yard touchdown with nine minutes to play to lift the Chiefs to a 17-13 road win over the Bills. Smith ended 17-of-29 for 177 yards while Jamaal Charles rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown for Kansas City, which improved to 6-3 with its fourth straight win. Dwayne Bowe hauled in eight catches for 93 yards in the win. Kyle Orton threw for 259 yards and a TD for Buffalo, which slipped to 5-4. Chris Hogan brought in the touchdown from Orton.


Lions Top Dolphins

(Detroit, MI) -- Matthew Stafford found Theo Riddick from 11 yards out with 29 seconds to play to lift the Lions to a 20-16 win over the Dolphins at Ford Field. Stafford ended with 280 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Calvin Johnson saw his first game action since Week Five and finished with seven catches for 113 yards and a touchdown for Detroit, which improved to 7-2. Golden Tate had 11 catches for 109 yards in the win.  Ryan Tannehill had 201 yards with a TD and a pick for Miami, which slipped to 5-4. Mike Wallace recorded five catches for 51 yards and a score.


Cowboys Clobber Jaguars In London

(London, England) -- Tony Romo returned to action and threw for 246 yards and three touchdowns as the Cowboys clobbered the Jaguars 31-17 in London. Dez Bryant had six catches for 158 yards and two touchdowns for Dallas, which improved to 7-and-3 by snapping its two-game skid. DeMarco Murray rushed for 100 yards in the victory. Blake Bortles passed for 290 yards and an interception for Jacksonville, which dipped to 1-9. Denard Robinson rushed for two scores and Cecil Shorts had five catches for 119 yards in the loss.


Niners Sink Saints In OT

(New Orleans, LA) -- Phil Dawson hit a 35-yard field goal in overtime to lift the 49ers to a 27-24 win over the Saints in New Orleans. Drew Brees was strip-sacked at his own 15, leading up to the game-winning field goal. Dawson also tied the game with 44 seconds left in regulation. Frank Gore and Carlos Hyde each had a rushing touchdown for San Francisco, which improved to 5-4. Colin Kaepernick threw for 210 yards and a TD to Anquan Boldin, who ended with six catches and 95 yards. Brees ended with 292 yards, three touchdowns and two picks for New Orleans, which slipped to 4-and-5 and 3-1 at home. Jimmy Graham hauled in two scores while Brandin Cooks had the other from Brees.


Ravens Topple Titans

(Baltimore, MD) -- Justin Forsett rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown as the Ravens toppled the Titans 21-7 in Baltimore. Joe Flacco passed for 169 yards and a touchdown to help the Ravens improve to 6-4. Torrey Smith had five grabs for 75 yards and a TD in the victory. Zach Mettenberger was 16-of-27 for 179 yards, a touchdown and an interception for the Titans, who fell to 2-7 with their third straight loss. Leon Washington had a touchdown catch in the defeat.


Jets Stun Steelers

(East Rutherford, NJ) -- Michael Vick threw a pair of touchdown passes and the Jets took advantage of four turnovers in a stunning 20-13 win over the Steelers in the Meadowlands. Vick also became the first quarterback to eclipse 6,000 career rushing yards in the victory. Jace Amaro and T.J. Graham had touchdown grabs for the Jets, who snapped their eight-game skid and improved to 2-8. Ben Roethlisberger was 30-of-43 for 343 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions for the 6-4 Steelers, who had their winning streak stopped at three. Martavis Bryant had four catches for 143 yards and a score in the loss.


Falcons Sink Buccaneers

(Tampa, FL) -- The Falcons scored the final 11 points of the game to sink the Buccaneers, 27-17, from Tampa. Josh McCown found Austin Seferian-Jenkins early in the fourth quarter to put the Bucs up one point.  Matt Ryan threw for 219 yards and a touchdown for Atlanta, which moved to 3-6. Steven Jackson rushed for a touchdown while Roddy White hauled in the one from Ryan. Julio Jones had eight catches for 119 yards in the win. McCown ended with 301 yards, two TDs and a pair of picks for Tampa Bay, which slipped to 1-8 and 0-5 at home. Mike Evans hauled in seven balls for 125 yards and a touchdown in the loss.


Broncos Blast Raiders

(Oakland, CA) -- Peyton Manning and the Broncos overcame two early interceptions in a 41-17 win over the Raiders in Oakland. Manning ended with 340 passing yards, five touchdowns and the two picks as Denver moved to 7-2. Julius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders each had two touchdowns from Manning while Demaryius Thomas hauled in 11 balls for 108 yards. C.J. Anderson rushed for 90 yards and had a 51-yard TD reception in the win. Derek Carr threw for 192 yards with two TDs and two picks for Oakland, which dropped to 0-9. Mychal Rivera had six catches for 64 yards and a TD.


Seahawks Run Over Giants

(Seattle, WA) -- The Seahawks rushed for 350 yards and erupted for 21 points in the fourth quarter in a 38-17 win over the Giants in Seattle. Marshawn Lynch ran for 140 yards and four touchdowns for Seattle, which has won three straight to move to 6-3. Russell Wilson passed for 172 yards and two interceptions while also rushing for 107 yards and a score in the victory. Eli Manning threw for 283 yards, a touchdown and an interception for the Giants, who dropped to 3-6 with their fourth straight loss. Odell Beckham Jr. had seven catches for 108 yards in the loss.
