Trade Deadline Passes Quietly For Bears

(Lake Forest, IL) -- The NFL's trade deadline passed quietly Tuesday for the Bears as the team made no deals. Chicago sits third in the NFC North at 3-5 following consecutive losses. The team enters its bye this week and returns to action November 9 at Lambeau Field against the Packers.


Rams Acquire Safety Barron From Bucs

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Rams are adding safety Mark Barron to their roster. NFL.com reports they have acquired the Alabama product from Tampa Bay for a future fourth and sixth-round draft pick. Barron was the seventh overall pick of the 2012 draft. He has 49 tackles in seven games this season.

The Rams return to the practice field today as they prepare for Sunday's rematch with the division-rival 49ers. The teams meet Sunday at Levi's Stadium, with kickoff at 3:05 p.m. The Rams are 2-5, while the 49ers are 4-3. San Francisco won 31-17 in St. Louis back in Week Six.
