Colts Hold Off Texans On "Thursday Night Football"

(Houston, TX) -- It ended up being interesting, but the Colts were able to hold on for a 33-28 win against the Texans at NRG Stadium on "Thursday Night Football." Indianapolis jumped out to a 24-0 lead in the first quarter. Andrew Luck finished with 370 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. T.Y. Hilton was Luck's main target hauling in nine catches for 223 yards and a TD. Houston roared back and had the ball with a chance to win the game on the final drive.

Ryan Fitzpatrick lost a fumble killing the comeback attempt. J.J. Watt's monster season continued as he had a 45-yard fumble recovery for a TD that cut the lead to five in the four quarter.  Watt also had seven tackles, two sacks, three tackles for a loss, three passes deflected and four QB hits. Arian Foster hit pay dirt twice and ran for 109 yards, while Andre Johnson caught a TD with 99 yards receiving. Indianapolis moved into first place improving to 4-2 and the Texans are one game back at 3-3.


Bears Face Falcons Sunday In Atlanta

(Atlanta, GA) -- A pair of struggling teams hookup on Sunday at the Georgia Dome as the Chicago Bears face the Falcons in Week Six action. Both teams enter the contest riding two-game losing streaks. The Bears have dropped consecutive games to the Packers and Panthers to slip to 2-3 on the year. The Falcons are coming off road losses to the Vikings and Giants and are also 2-3 with both of their wins coming at home. Chicago won the last meeting with Atlanta 30-12 at Soldier Field in 2011.

 Linebacker D.J. Williams was back at practice on a limited basis for the Bears on Thursday. He did not participate on Wednesday with a neck injury. Former Bears receiver Devin Hester was out for the second straight day for the Falcons. On Sunday, the Bears face the Falcons in Atlanta.


Rams Host 49ers Monday

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Rams continue to prepare for a "Monday Night Football" matchup with the rival 49ers. The Rams have lost their last two games to the Cowboys and Eagles to fall to 1-3 on the season. San Francisco is 3-2. The Rams were swept the 49ers in the season series a year ago.


NFL Week Six Preview

Another Sunday of the NFL season is set to roll on as it hits Week Six. The Cowboys travel to CenturyLink Field to face the Seahawks in a battle of one-loss teams. Over in the AFC, the Patriots and Bills square off at Ralph Wilson Stadium in a battle for first place in the AFC East.

A cross conference first-place matchup featuring the Panthers and Bengals is at Paul Brown Stadium. The Browns look for revenge from an early-season loss to the Steelers from Cleveland. "Sunday Night Football" pits the Giants versus the Eagles in Philadelphia. Week Six started with a 33-28 Colts win over the Texans Thursday in Houston.
