Rams Get Extra Day To Prepare For "MNF"
(St. Louis, MO) -- The Rams have an extra day to prepare for their Week Six game against the 49ers. The teams meet on "Monday Night Football" at the Edward Jones Dome. The Rams are 1-3 after losing at Philadelphia Sunday. San Francisco is 3-and-2 after beating Kansas City.
Ray-Ray Armstrong is no longer with the Rams. He was released this week after being flagged for unnecessary roughness during Sunday's loss to the Eagles. Head coach Jeff Fisher says the move was based on overall dissatisfaction with Armstrong's progression on the field.
Bears Make Number Of Moves
(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Bears are making roster moves, cutting cornerback Isaiah Frey while promoting Al Louis-Jean to the active roster. The team also signed linebackers DeDe Lattimore and Terrell Manning to the practice squad. Defensive end David Bass was waived while defensive end Roy Philon and receiver Rashad Ross were cut from the practice squad.
The Bears hit the practice field today to prepare for Sunday's road game against the Atlanta Falcons. Chicago is 2-3, one game behind Detroit and Green Bay in the NFC North and tied with Minnesota. The Falcons are 2-and-3 this season. Sunday's game kicks off at 3:25.
