Falcons Steamroll Bucs, 56-14

(Atlanta, GA) -- The Falcons made easy work of the Buccaneers behind Matt Ryan and Julio Jones in a 56-14 romp at the Georgia Dome on "Thursday Night Football." Jones hauled in nine receptions for 161 yards and two touchdowns, while Ryan completed 21-of-24 passes for 286 yards and three TDs. Devin Hester scored on a 62-yard punt return and a 20-yard reverse.

The return TD was Hester's 20th of his career breaking Deion Sanders record. Atlanta is 2-1. The Lovie Smith era in Tampa isn't off to the start they were hoping as they committed five turnovers on the way to falling behind 56-0 in the third quarter.  In the fourth Mike Glennon found Vincent Jackson in the end zone and Danny Lansanah had a 27-yard pick to the house. Tampa is 0-3. Starting quarterback Josh McCown left the game with a thumb injury and didn't return.
