EHS Media Day, BuckBowl Set For Saturday, August 23

The Effingham High School Media Day has been scheduled Saturday, August 23. Photographs will be taken of all sports teams at Klosterman Field. In case of poor weather, the photos will be taken in B Gym.

The schedule is as follows:

8 a.m. -- Co-ed Soccer

8:15 a.m. -- Boys Golf

8:25 a.m. -- Girls Golf

8:35 a.m. -- Cheerleaders, Varsity and JV

8:45 a.m. -- Freshman Volleyball

9 a.m. -- Junior Varsity Volleyball

9:15 a.m. -- Varsity Volleyball

9:20 a.m. -- Girls Tennis

9:30 a.m. -- Girls Cross Country

9:40 a.m. -- Boys Cross Country

10 a.m. -- Freshman Football

10:20 a.m. -- Sophomore Football

10:45 a.m. -- Varsity Football

The BuckBowl fesitivities will be held Saturday, August 23. The schedule is as follows:

5-8 pm. -- EHS Football Mom's Concession Stand, pizza, hot dogs, chips, nachos, candy and soft drinks

6 p.m. -- Introduction of cheerleaders, sponsor April Karpus

6:10 p.m. -- Introduction of freshman and sophomore football staff and players

6:30 p.m. -- Freshman offense vs. sophomore defense, one 15 minute continuous clock quarter

6:45 p.m. -- Freshman defense vs. sophomore offense, one 15 minute continuous clock quarter

7 p.m. -- Introduction of football staff, Coach Mike McDonald and introduction of junior and senior football players

7:10 p.m. -- Varsity scrimmage.

Admission is $2 per person or $5 per family. The proceeds will help support the Football Moms
