Rams Continue Practice Today

(Earth City, MO) -- The St. Louis Rams got back to work at their training facility in Earth City Monday. Linebacker James Laurinaitis and defensive tackle Michael Brockers were among the players who sat out practice following the team's loss to the Saints this past weekend. The Rams are back on the practice field today as they prepare for their second preseason game on Saturday at home against the Green Bay Packers.


Bears Back In Practice Today

(Bourbonnais, IL) -- The Bears practice again today in Bourbonnais before breaking camp Wednesday. They will host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night at Soldier Field in the second preseason game for both teams.


Police Investigating Seahawks' Lynch In Assault Complaint

(Bellevue, WA) -- Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is being investigated by police over an allegation of assault and property damage at an apartment complex. Bellevue, Washington Police say Lynch was named by an unidentified woman in regards to an incident that occurred early Sunday morning.  The complaint does not involve domestic violence or sexual assault. Lynch has been named to the Pro Bowl each of the last three years, helping the Seahawks win their first Super Bowl title last season.

He was suspended three games in 2009 while with Buffalo for having a concealed weapon in the trunk of his car. Lynch also had his driver's license revoked in 2008 following a hit-and-run accident in Buffalo.  He was also cited for reckless driving in Oakland, California in 2012.


Cowboys' Scandrick Suspended Four Games By NFL

(Oxnard, CA) -- The NFL is suspending Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made the announcement Monday saying the cornerback took something while in Mexico which was on the banned substances list.  Scandrick had appealed the suspension but lost. He's declined comment.


Bengals' Marvin Jones Has Broken Foot

(Cincinnati, OH) -- The Cincinnati Bengals receiving crew took a hit on Monday. It was revealed Marvin Jones has a broken foot and will be out for a few weeks. The injury happened at practice on Saturday. Jones had a pin put in his left foot. He had 51 receptions for 712 yards and 11 touchdowns last season. Mohamed Sanu is expected to be moved to the number-two receiver position and Dane Sanzenbacher will shift to number-three.


Manning Brothers Release Rap Song With DirecTV

The Manning brothers are back with another rap song in support of DirecTV. This week Peyton and Eli teamed up for the song "Fantasy Football Fantasy" in support of the satellite provider's new Fantasy Zone Channel.

The song's music video features cameos from Eli and Peyton's father, Archie Manning, as well as NFL legend Joe Namath. "Broadway Joe" actually appears as the duo raps about him making stew with their mother. Last year, the brothers released the song "Football on Your Phone," which went viral after hitting airways.
