Rams Prepare For Saints

(St. Louis, MO) -- After two days of practice, the St. Louis Rams are done for the week until they kick off their preseason slate Friday against the New Orleans Saints at the Edward Jones Dome. Following the game, the team returns to practice Monday to start preparing for when the Packers come to town on August 16.

Bears Suspend TE Bennett

(Bourbonnais, IL) -- The Bears are suspending tight end Martellus Bennett for an undetermined amount of time after Monday's practice incident with rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller. Head coach Marc Trestman stopped practice after the incident. Bennett is also being fined an undisclosed amount.

Look for the Bears to add a wide receiver in the near future. Head coach Marc Trestman says the team is exploring options in wake of the injury to Marquess Wilson, who had surgery to repair a fractured clavicle Tuesday. Wilson is likely to miss a portion of the regular season.

The Bears will be back on the practice field this morning in Bourbonnais. It's the team's final practice before the preseason opener against the Philadelphia Eagles Friday. Defensive end Jared Allen missed Tuesday's practice to be with his wife after the birth of their daughter.
